Live AddedGrandma Maria kept every handwritten postcard we ever sent her in a lavender-scented cedar box. Finding it reminded us how deeply she held every small moment.
I remember that box! She received it as a wedding gift from Besalú in 1958.
The Sunday lunches she organized were legendary. She always made room for unexpected guests with an extra chair and warm soup.
Her Sunday arroz was the best in the world.
