Memory Continuity

Accessibility & inclusive use

Accessibility statement

Memory Continuity aims to provide a readable, keyboard-usable, responsive public memorial and contribution experience. This is an operational accessibility statement, not a claim of formal certification or complete legal conformance.

Current measures

The public experience uses semantic controls, visible focus treatment, responsive layouts, labelled media controls, alternative text where supplied, and non-autoplaying visitor-controlled sound fallback. We continue to test changing media, forms, and administrative interfaces for keyboard and small-screen use.

Known limits

Family-uploaded media and free-text contributions can vary in accessibility. Video captions, transcripts, image descriptions, and formal assistive-technology compatibility depend on contributor and operator workflows not yet available in every upload path.

Requesting an alternative

Ask the operator for content in an alternative format or report a barrier. Include the memorial URL, a description of the issue, and the assistive technology or browser used where possible.
